Who we are

HarbourList is operated by Justinas Sinkunas, trading as HarbourList. We are the data controller for personal data processed through this site. 1. What we collect

Account data (name, email, password hash, optional phone), listing content you post, enquiry messages you send through the platform, payment records for paid services (processed by our payment provider — we never store card numbers), and standard technical logs (IP address, browser type) used for security and rate limiting.

2. How we use it

• To operate the marketplace: showing listings, delivering enquiries to sellers, processing upgrades.
• To send transactional email: enquiry notifications, moderation decisions, receipts, and saved-search alerts you have switched on.
• To keep the platform safe: spam prevention, fraud detection, moderation and audit logs.

We do not sell your personal data.

3. Sharing

When you send an enquiry, your name, email, optional phone number and message are shared with the seller so they can respond. Service providers (hosting, email delivery, payment processing, file storage) process data on our behalf under contract.

4. Retention

Account data is kept while your account is active. Listings, enquiries and audit records are retained for as long as needed for the marketplace's integrity and legal obligations, then deleted or anonymised.

5. Your rights

Depending on your location you may have rights to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, and to object to certain processing. Contact us from your registered email to exercise these rights.

6. Cookies

We use strictly necessary cookies for sign-in sessions and security. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.
