1. About HarbourList
HarbourList ("we", "us") is operated by Justinas Sinkunas, trading as HarbourList. We operate an online marketplace that allows users to advertise boats and related items for sale ("listings") and to contact sellers. We are an advertising platform only: we are not a party to any sale, we do not own the boats advertised, and we do not handle sale funds between buyers and sellers. You can reach us at support@theharbourlist.com.
2. Accounts
You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. We may suspend accounts that breach these terms, post fraudulent content, or abuse other users.
3. Listings and content
Sellers are responsible for the accuracy of their listings, for having the right to sell the items advertised, and for complying with applicable law (including consumer law for business sellers). We may review, edit, decline or remove any listing at our discretion. By posting content you grant us a non-exclusive licence to display it on the platform and in marketing for the platform.
4. Buying and selling
Transactions are concluded directly between buyer and seller. We strongly recommend viewing any boat in person, verifying documentation, and using an independent surveyor. We are not responsible for the condition, legality or title of items advertised, nor for the conduct of buyers or sellers.
5. Paid services
Optional paid upgrades (such as premium listings, featured placements and broker plans) are described on our pricing page. Payments are processed by our payment provider. Except where required by law, fees are non-refundable once the service has been delivered.
6. Acceptable use
You must not post unlawful, misleading or offensive content; attempt to circumvent moderation or security controls; scrape the platform at scale; or use it to send spam.
7. Liability
The platform is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we exclude all warranties and limit our liability to the fees you have paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
8. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified on the platform or by email; continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
